LESSONS FOR
All ages & levels
Grovespring Farm is a Recognized Riding Academy (RRA) with the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and offers lessons to people of all ages and levels. Susan Deal is a certified instructor with the USHJA. Our school horses are educated and safe. As C.S. Lewis said “No one can teach riding so well as a horse.”

Adults
Our adult group is very active riding to hounds and hunter pacing. We take field trips to ride out as well.
WE LOVE
Clinics
Clinics are a big part of the program as Susan loves to learn. In 2021 we brought in Melanie Taylor Smith with Alicia Byberg-Landman for ground work. Oliver Brown is a regular teaching mounted lessons as well as confirmation clinics.
SUMMER
Camp
Summer camp gives riders the opportunity to ride every day and improve more quickly. Some of the camps have a specific focus like schooling young horses or horse showing or riding to hounds, giving riders an opportunity to learn a new skill or spend more time on a certain aspect of riding and training.
